This is a gorgeous wedding I've been meaning to blog for quite some time. Their wedding took place at the Historic Beaver Dam House in Davidson, NC. I had never been there, so it was fun to shoot at a new Charlotte location and it was absolutely stunning! This wasn't just any ordinary wedding though....I've known Gina and Joe for a long time. Joe and I go way back to good 'ole Harrisburg Elementary School and I met Gina when we were in middle school while running track.

Needless to say, I was thrilled when they asked me to shoot their wedding....it was an intimate ceremony and reception, followed by an amazing honeymoon in Hawaii, then followed by a huge party with all family and friends :)

Then Comes Marriage

Last year, when I first met with Katie and Matt, I was so pumped because of their enthusiasm....we had a blast at their engagement session and their wedding day was a wonderful, intimate affair with tons of laughing, memorable toasts and big smiles. Thanks so much for letting me be apart of your day and I wish you much happiness in the years to come!!!

Whitney, we were both so nervous about having our photos taken but you put us at ease immediately! Then Comes Marriage

I am taking a break from painting (which I abhor), very quickly, to blog Kelley and Kyle's wedding (one of the several "breaks" I've taken today)! If anyone would like to come paint for me, please give me a ring...actually, just come on over...I'll provide food and entertainment! :)

I have a slew of weddings that I am just now getting to blog after all the moving, etc,etc...a HUGE thank you goes out to all my brides for being ever-so-patient with me!! Y'all rock! :)

Kelley and Kyle had a beautiful wedding back in the fall at the University Hilton....check out the photos below :) Congratulations you two! Hope married life is treating you in the most awesome way ever!!!!

{mary and chris} Charlotte Wedding Photographer

Then Comes Marriage

I had the pleasure of shooting this wedding awhile back and it was a gorgeous day, not too hot and not too humid. Mary and Chris wanted a fun but intimate wedding where they could relax and talk to dear family and friends without being rushed...I think they succeeded! :)
