Today's segment of This and That consists of random (and completely, totally redundant) daily news and maybe a fun picture (OK, I'm going to blow the secret, there is a fun picture at the bottom of this post...)

Does anyone out there actually like Monday??  I've been thinking about it this morning and I always hear (or read on Twitter, etc, etc): "Ugh, it's Monday," or "My weekend was too short...and now it's Monday  :(..."  I am thinking we should just do away with Monday all together and start the week off with Tuesday....Tuesday is a nice day, right?  It's one more day closer to Friday  :)  

I have always been a big fan of Craigslist, but as of this past week it has officially freaked me out....I have decided to leave Craigslist and start a relationship with Etsy....so far, I am completely, 100% addicted to Etsy and I am considering joining a group  (if you have not been to Etsy.com, please people go see what you're missing!)  It's like a giant TJ Maxx, but way more awesome-er!

Today, I am officially announcing that I am training for a marathon.There.I said it.I blogged it.Everyone knows.Now I have to do it because I put it on my blog.Crap.What did I go and do that for?Now I really have to do it!!I wonder how I can I get out of it?!?  

....But in all seriousness, I joined a running group a few months ago ANDDD, I am having the best time!  I've been toying around with signing up for the LA marathon in May and da da da  dummmm, I signed up yesterday...eeeek!  Cheerful comments and encouragement are always welcome!

Lastly, Mike and I have started a garden and it's so cute...hopefully our plants won't die and we'll be rewarded with copious amounts of delicious, healthy and local veggies (and a little bit of fruit), but if anyone wants to leave gardening tips below, I might send you a beautiful, giant, heirloom tomato :)
