Yes, I have been slacking on the blog...but for a good reason: tons of shooting, fulfilling orders and traveling but I did manage to sneak in a really fun trip to one of my favorite cities to hang out with my favorite friends!

These girls are my biggest cheerleaders and motivators, plus they're just tons of fun to hang out with :)

Can't go to NYC in December without visiting the Rockefeller Tree...

And NYC is a great place to just walk around and play...and hold random photo shoots of each other...

Miss y'all already!

My dear friend and fabulous photographer, Alice Park, created NAPCP (National Association of Professional Child Photographers) this past year and it is already *the* place to be if you're a professional child/family photographer.  NAPCP is holding a membership drive this month and they are giving away thousands of dollars in prizes--um, how cool is that?!  Be sure to check out NAPCP on Facebook and Twitter to see the top 25 reasons to join NAPCP!

If you didn't read my post from yesterday, I just had my wisdom teeth out this morning and I just wanted to tell everyone who has sent me flowers, care packages, cards, emails and texts...THANK YOU---you're all brightening my day so much...geez, now I'm getting teary eyed!

Seriously, I'm such a lucky gal and I have so many things to be thankful for and I appreciate everyone taking time out of their day to check in on me...I feel so loved :)

Happy Early Thanksgiving!!

I want to ask each and every one of you to eat tons of GUILT free turkey or tofurkey this week because I will not be eating any at all...no, I'm not boycotting Thanksgiving and no, I'm not quite a vegetarian yet but pretty close to it, but I am having my wisdom teeth removed tomorrow morning!  As of Wednesday at 8:30am PST I will be sporting 3 fewer teeth, so say a few prayers that I won't spaz out at the doctors office (which I, um, kinda have already) and be sure to eat PLENTY of turkey and stuffing for me (oh and maybe a glass of wine)!!!

My awesome family sent me a little care package...there was also a gigantic candy bar in there but I already consumed it, yup you guessed it, guilt free :)

Mike and I have tons of calendars synced with our schedules...on our email, our phones...but every month I still make a cheesy, homemade calendar (with markers!) so we can see what all is going on---which lately has been a lot:

Don't you just loooveee my illustrations?

I hope everyone has a happy and safe weekend with family and friends and enjoy time off from work :)

*Thank you for being understanding if it takes me a few days to get back to your emails*

Oh...that's just cruel! You're getting your wisdom teeth pulled the day before Thanksgiving? You poor girl! I hope that everything goes well and that you have a speedy painless recovery. Have a happy turkey (free) day.
